Pulte Group Defends Centex Merger

Pulte Homes announced earnings on Friday, and CEO Richard Dugas defended the big merger with one time rival Centex Homes. Centex had a substantial land position, and brand making it desirable for Pulte Homes to absorb. Pulte Homes previous earnings results have some analysts questioning when profitability will return to one of the top home builders in the country.
